  28. But I havn't slagged Supra off!  Quite the reverse; I'm slagging off the
  29. el cheepos which just get the Rockwell basics (somehow, sometimes cloned)
  30. and then make a modem (for a silly price), give it a silly name, put it in
  31. a butch display carton and then sell it on to the unsuspecting

  33. Over here in UK, advertisers know they can't getting away with calling it
  34. the "Morning Glory 288EX Power Data Shafter Mk 2" so instead advertise
  35. this rubbish as "Rockwell"

  44. Well, erm, that was my intention in my original posting:  If the advertiser
  45. won't tell you the brand name (Rockwell don't make modems) don't buy.  If
  46. the seller says: "It's just like a Zoom (or Supra)" ask why it's not called
  47. by it's proper name then (and still don't buy)  If it's called Zoom (oh,
  48. alright then, Supra as well :) then you can buy with confidence
